[plamo:24412] xcdroast-0.98がconfigureできません

xcdroast-0.98を使いたいと思いmakeを試みました。
でも./configureで下記のようなメッセージが出て
先に進めません。

checking for GDK_PIXBUF - version >= 0.8.0... no

gdkがどこかにあるのかと思いcontribを見ましたが見つけられません。
どこにあるか、どなたか御存じでしたなら教えて頂けないでしょうか。
