[plamo:26672] Dual-Core OpteronでPlamo-4.2のinstallとkernelの再構築



尾形です。

Dual-Core Opteron Model 280 2.4GHz x 2 (4Core)で
Plamo-4.2(20051223)をinstallしてみました。
M/B tyan s2892 Thunder K8SE
MEM 4GB(1024MB,PC3200,DDR400,CAS Latency 3)
HDD 160GB ST3160827AS
gnomeのお勧めパッケージによるinstallは特に問題はありませんでした。

kernelはSMPではありませんでしたのでmake menuconfigで
「SMPのみ」変更し再構築を行ったものを使用してkernelの
ビルド時間を比較してみました。(Xの起動なし)

こじまさんのdairy/kojima/2005-06-02のbuildtest.shで-j を
-j5,-j3,-j1,-j7に変えた場合のlogは以下のようでした。
