ATI Radeon で Xv extension が使えないということでしょうか ?

$ xvinfo

の結果はどうなりますか ?
Xv extension を使用中なら，

X-Video Extension version 2.2
screen #0
  Adaptor #0: "ATI Radeon Video Overlay"
    number of ports: 1
    port base: 115
    operations supported: PutImage 
    supported visuals:
      depth 24, visualID 0x23
 
とこんな風に表示されるはずですが，使えていない場合は，

X-Video Extension version 2.2
screen #0
no adaptors present

となるはずです．

Xv が使えていないなら，
Section "Device"  と Section "Screen" を ATI のドライバの
ものだけにして，
Section "Device"  に，
 Option      "VideoOverlay" "on"
 
を追加してみたらどうでしょうか ?

私のところでは，ATI のドライバを使って，Radeon を Depth 24 ，
1280x1024 の設定で Xine も問題なく使えています．
