FD は歴史的な事情によりさまざまなサイズや密度のものが存在してます．マ
ウントの際の

#mount /dev/fd0 /fd 

では /dev/fd0 のフォーマットは自動識別されますが，フォーマット時にはど
の密度でフォーマットするかを指定する必要があります．このあたりは 
/usr/src/linux/Documentation/devices.txt に詳しいですが，抜粋しますと，
