参考になるかわかりませんが，似たようなハード構成が会社にありましたので
試験してみました．

 PC:  Panasonic CF-S23
 SCSI: adaptec SlimSCSI APA-1640A
 CD-ROM: TAXAN ICD-800PW
 kernel: 2.4.24 

自分でコンパイルしたカーネルだと認識しますが，
Plamo 3.X の  install DISKだと エラーが出て
認識してくれませんでした．
