こんにちは。
毎日お騒がせしております。
さて、こじまみつひろ様のアドバイスにより、
lilo．confにappend="ether=15,0x240,eth0 aha152x=0x340,11,7,1"と書き加える
と、
boot : Linux　で
ちゃんとEthernet Card　と
SCSI（ついでに、SyQuestのリムーバブルカートリッジまで）を
認識するようになりました。

で、ネットワーク関連ですが、
dmesgでみると

0 3c515 cards found
0 3c515 cards found
（１行省略）
NE*000 ethercard probe at 0x240 : 00 00 f4 4a 0f cd
eth0: NE2000 found at 0x240, usinf IRQ 15.
(十数行略)
brg0: network interface for Ethernet Bridge 007/NET4.0
grg0: generated MAC address FE:FD:0E:12:FC:1A
brg0:attached to bridge instance 0

などとなっています。

しかし、他のマシンからpingしても、
つながっていない様子。
/etc/rc.d/rc.inet1
を見てみると、

Your ethernet card was not initialized properly. Here are some reasons why
this may have happen, and the solutions:
1. Your kernel does not contain support for your card. Including all the
network drivers in a Linux can make it too large to even boot, and sometimes
including extra drivers can cause system hangs. to support your ethernet,
either edit /etc/rc.d/rc.modules to load the support at boottime, or compile
and install a kernel that contains support.
2.You don't have an ethernet card, in which case you should comment out this
section of /etc/rc.d/rc.inet1.

と書かれていました。

まず、
/etc/rc.d/rc.modules
を書き換えるとしたら、どこをどう書き換えればいいのでしょう。
一応、
# Ethernetsectionで
/sbin/modeprobe neの部分をコメントアウトした上で、
うしろに io=0x240, irq=15と書き加えてみました。
ぜんぜんどう編集して良いのか分からないので、、、。

でも、ダメです。

bootのときにはｅｔｈｅｒｎｅｔ　ｃａｒｄを認識しているのに、
ネットワークにつながらないというのは、
どこに原因があるのでしょうか。
