よく見ると、メールは２回届いていたようですね。

相手のアドレスを間違った書いた場合には、
自分宛にMailer Daemon から error messageがありますよね。
 rejected している場合は、そういうメールはないです。
受信するときに、こういうのを眺めていて、rejected されるメールがあると
そのときにわかる。その記録は /var/adm/messages に残る。

今回のは、rejected  した後、そのメールが相手先にちゃんと返送できないという
状態になったみたいですね。

で、ちょっと細かく見てみました(少し長くなってごめんなさい)

 rejected するメールであっても、一度受信した後に
そのメールを受け取りませんという形で返送するから、

こういう記録は、相手先がその返送メールを(なぜか)受信してくれない状態に
なっているということなのだろうか。
私のほうから何度か返送を試みていて、
ここで返送ができている。

するとまたメールが送られてきて、rejected するけれど、
相手先が返送メールをちゃんと受け取らないという状態になるので、

queue に怪しいメールが作られているのかと思っていたけれど、
bizop@btamail.netからは２回メールが届いていて、
(1)Aug  9 10:01:25
(2)Aug 23 23:27:55 

(1)のメールでの返送が Aug 18 12:06:43  に完了して、
(2)のメールの返送が繰り返されているときに、おかしいと気がついた。

実際、私のほうから送信しようとしていたメールの内容は、
次のようなもの
 rejected したという知らせを正常に返送できない理由は
Invalid address. ってことになりますよね。

だから fetchmail には問題はなかったのだと思います。
