どうもありがとうございます。
Kernel 2.4.22と思ったのですが、念のために部屋に転がっていた
クラシックPentiumなPCに新たにインストールしてみました。

Vine Linux 2.6r4はインストール後は自動的に再起動までかかって、
インストーラーのカーネルのバージョンを調べるタイミングがなかった
のですが、インストール後の再起動時にログインするときの情報は
Vine Linux 2.6r4(La Fleur de Bouard)
Kernel 2.4.22-0v12.10 on i586

となっていました。ログイン後
# uname -a すると
2.4.22-0v12.10 #1 2004年 1月 9日 金曜日 22:41:03 EST i586 unknown
でした。インストーラーもKernel 2.4.22ぐらいではないかと思われます。

HDD上にはブートの仕組を置いてなくて、fd上に置いて、ブートさせようと
していたので、 grub> kernel=(hd?,… は出来ませんでした。

bootdsk-ALI,rootdsk-pnpをを用いて、Plamo 3.3を再インストールして
今度は「instal bootloader:ブートローダーの作成」でgrub - floppy
	http://plamo.linet.gr.jp/%7Ekmoue/plamo/3.3/p3inst-5.html#bootloader
で作成しました。先日はここでnoneを選択し、「ブートディスク作成」で
grubまたはsyslinuxのブートディスクを作成しようとしていたのです。

ちなみに「ブートディスク作成」はcontinue ブートディスク作成を終了し、
インストールを終了する で OKを選択しても先へ進めず、Cancelで抜けなくちゃ
いけなくなっていました。

前回はお勧めパッケージの選択で n(notePC向け)を選択していたのですが、
今回はとりあえず s(最小)でインストールしました。

インストール終了後
今回「ブートディスク作成」で作った、grub,syslinuxのfdは前と変わらず
「This is not a bootable disk.Please…」でした。

「ブートローダーの作成」で作ったgrubのfdではブート出来ました。
