きど です。久しぶりにお邪魔します。

私も ThinkPad X30 を持っていて、加藤さんと同じ現象に悩まされました。

現在のところ、手元では以下の設定で誤魔化しています。Plamo は 4.21です。

1. /etc/rc.d/rc.modules で orinoco_pci を先に組込む
    /sbin/modprobe orinoco_pci
    /sbin/modprobe e100

2. /etc/network.fixed で eth0 も eth1 も組込みドライバとして扱う
    lo
    eth0
    eth1

3. /etc/network.mode は次のとおり
    eth0 -m
    eth1 -d

4. /etc/network.conf では、各エントリに MAC アドレスも指定する
   こんな感じ
    eth1,home,00:09:6B:A0:5C:FE)
        （略）
        ;;
    eth0,wlan,00:05:3C:06:2A:2E)
        （略）
        ;;

これで、eth0 が無線（orinoco_pci）、eth1 が有線（e100）で固定できます。
dmesg は以下のとおりです。

eth1: no IPv6 routers present

udev の設定は Plamo 4.21 デフォルトのままです。

ちなみに、同じ機械に Debian etch を入れたことがあるのですが、その時は、
/etc/udev/rules.d の設定ファイルをいじることで、なんとか解決できました。
ただ、何をどう編集したのか覚えていません。(^^;
