[plamo:01113] glibc2 problem

plamo1.0 -> 1.1.2 -> 1.3 と使わせて頂いています。
oracle for linux を載せたくてglibc2.tgz livc6.tgz gcc.tgz
をinstallpkgでインストールしたところ、imget -s pop で
 
mike:~$ imget -s pop

imget: ERROR: Can't find a way to fsync(). Set NoSync=yes in your Config file and be careful on file system overflow if your mail folders are on NFS.

となりましたので、

~/.im/Configに

Set NoSync=yes 

の行を加えたところメールの受信に成功したのですが、これでかまわないので
しょうか？
~/.im/Config は1.1.2 の時にimsetup で出来たものに、プロバイダのサーバを
書きこんでいます。
